I have lived here for 9 mos and will be moving out soon d/t school but I thought living at Arden Courts was pretty nice. The neighborhood seems safe. You get one garage parking space but they have places outside to park. It is an older building but when we came in they had repainted and redone certain things inside the apartment and so the apartment felt new. I almost forget I am living in an old building. The manager is nice. You have a 3 day grace period for rent and we have had a few maintenence things and they have been helpful and come within the week depending on the priority of the problem. It's pretty quiet and neighbors are good. Sometimes it smells funny in the hallway d/t ethnic foods being cooked but you don't get the smell inside your apartment. And for the most part i think it's nonsmoking....so yes, it's a great place to live if you want a cheap place and are a college student...but I have seen a lot of families here of all race and it's safe and neighbors are friendly when you do see them. It is secured so that's nice too.
