The only upside of the place is that apartments are spacious.
I stay on first floor. If you are not tolerable to bugs then I would recommend staying somewhere else!! I stayed here for 2 long years and can t wait until my lease is up. In the spring, summer, and fall (the worse) you will find centipedes galore (I was killing a centipede almost every other day), ants (terrible), and spiders. When I brought it to Mgmt; they just said to buy some raid and that it will be winter time soon - so they will go away.
One time my pipes burst underneath my sink, while the dishwasher was running, and water got under the sink. This caused the wood to rot and mold and caused a funk smell. I called maintenance to fix it and they just pounded a new wood board over the rotted one. Management is pretty good about recognizing a problem, but they do quick fixes that are just enough to get buy.
Parking sucks, people that stay there don t care about other people s car either. I would get home everyday after 10:30pm and there would not be any parking and if you did find a parking spot then your door will have a ton of dings by the end of the year! I had to purchase a garage just so that I had a place to park. If you park on the street in the winter time, you will get a parking ticket.
Someone had punched a hole in my screen window to my bedroom, if I would open the window in the kitchen - sometimes kids would put trash in my window seal, a lot of cops would visit the apartments, a woman beater lived upstairs from me, I noticed a lot of 5 minute visitors that would come and go, drunk guy fell in the hallway and landed on my door his weight was enough to break the lock to my door, and it doesn t stop there either.
Out of 10, I give this place a 5.5.
