UPDATE 2-18-09: A few months ago we got another new manager. But this time it was for the best. She seems to really care about the facility. The hallways have gotten a new coat of paint and it looks like the hallway carpets were cleaned. Our workout room is getting remodeled, I'm courious of what's to come. New attempts to keep up to date records on storage lockers and such is underway. I'm much happier with the new management, they are easier to talk to and I look forward to the improvements. As for the hot water, it's still hit or miss, but I still like a cooler shower. I haven't had much of a problem lately with the whole UPS or FedEx, so not sure what's changed there. The toilet still runs, but I haven't bothered with it in a long time. So far, very happy with the new management and I hope they keep the ongoing trend.

UPDATE 11-2008': Not sure how I'm feeling about the place now. New management that I try to avoid, and staff changes over often. As for the package acceptance by the office. It's true, you get no notice from UPS or FedEx, and occasionally USPS does leave a note in your mailbox, they are the best with this. So unless you're tracking something, you have no idea if it's been delivered. I've had one package delivered to my apartment, that was months ago. My biggest complaint is no posted hours for the rental office. They are only open late one night a week and closed by the time I get done with work, so picking up packages, I have to take a lunch from work just to get my packages, lucky I work close by. I don't have a problem with the hot water, I don't like HOT showers. My apartment is TOO hot in the winter. I have windows open to compensate, but I'd rather have that than too cold I guess. I've called numerous times to get my toilet fixed and it still isn't, I sort of gave up. They keep replacing the same thing and it doesn't fix the problem. I have become annoyed with living here, and I don't like that. But I love my apartment and I hate moving.

5-08: I've been living here for a couple of months and other than a few things, it's been great. The few things are more convenience items for me. The elevator was down for 3 weeks, but I'd rather have a safe working one than something that people could get hurt in. It's working now. The staff has been very pleasant to me and I've enjoyed living here very much. I have also heard some VERY bad stories from some past/current tenants. They have a monthly news letter that I love, (Ok, it's not so monthly, more occasional) it helps me as a newer tenant to be up to date on some policies and things that are going on around the place. The hot water heater was replaced recently, and the building for the most part is pretty quite. Sometimes the neighbors below me have their surround sound kind of loud but it's nothing that the sound of a fan can't cover. I've been happy here, and hope to stay for a long time.
