We lived in a 3 bedroom end unit for about 9 months back in 2000. Things might have changed since then but from reading the reviews it doesn't sound like it. We were living there temporarily while we searched for a home after moving here from NY. I told the staff I needed a lease that would allow my family to move out in less than a year and assumed they were taking care of that. I was only told I would need to give 1 months notice. Which we did... Lesson learned..always read the fine print no matter what the sales agent tells you.
The unit itself...was disgusting. We had actual ANT HILLS in our mechanical closet. I called and called about getting an exterminator in and only after 3 weeks did a maintenance guy come and spray. Didn't help one bit. I would vacuum the ants (and their hills up), scrub the floor, and would come home later to find them all over our main floor again. I repeatedly called for further assistance and none came. It had nothing to do with trash like some other reviewer suggested. We keep a very clean house and certainly don't let trash sit around.
The business with the water softner rental is ridiculous. Every dwelling in Plymouth needs one...what's the point of having renters "CHOOSE" to rent one' And have them installed and removed after each tenent' Our dishwasher (obviously having been subjected to the hard water in Plymouth for some time) had so much buildup the thing that revolves around squirting water didn't move. I had to call many many many times about that...never got fixed. They did come and replace the door of the dishwasher once, not sure why. Didn't help. And I have to agree with the other reviewers the staff is always short and rude. Don't underestimate the need for decent customer service when searching for a place to rent. k6tKKzmJrmATU2ap682S
