Totally happy here

My family moved here after selling our house. We thought it would be hard to transition from owning to renting, but that has not been the case.
The units are a good size and well maintained. I have never waited more than 24 hours for maintenence and they get on top of the urgent issues right away.
Being allowed to have a large dog is great, as well as the freedom to install things like an alarm system and a water softener (Plymouth's water is HORRIBLE!) In unit washer and dryers are a huge plus!
The landscaping in the warmer months is beautiful. Some may complain about it, but I love that they tow unlicensed or illegally parked cars and require people to keep their trash cans in the garage. Snow removal is prompt, and maintenence was quick to get out and remove ice from the sidewalks after a recent thaw and refreeze.
I rarely hear my neighbors, the people are very friendly, and there are a lot of families around, so my kids have others to play with. Some of the people living near me have been here for 10 years! I at police reports before moving in and could not find reports of any real crime in the neighborhood.
The only negative I can think of is that some of my neighbors don't clean up after their dogs and the playground is small, but there is a really nice park within walking distance.
