Looks can be deceiving

Creekside was one of the better look apartments that I saw in the area and ended up living there for 1.5 yrs. After living there for only 6 months I found several things that I was disappointed with:
Poor maintenance:
-Requests to have light bulbs changed took up to two weeks.
-The door leading to the stairway was broken and was not fixed for 6 months. This allowed for anyone who had access to the garage to get into the main building without a key. Also, I would periodically see the doors leading out of the building being left propped open (again, who needs a key').
-They installed a 'safety gate' at the bottom of the stairs which broke and was not fixed for several months.
-The garage was to be cleaned weekly by the staff but garbage was not removed for months even after being notified. (someone left a banana peel by one of the garage doors and it sat for 12 weeks till it rotted away. I had to tell management 3 times till it eventually disappeared)
Noisy place to live:
-There is poor insulation between units. When trying to sleep at night I could hear my neighbor receiving instant messages even though his/her volume was low.
-Tenants would play loud music passed midnight. I'd call the on-call staff to complain and the music would keep going for at least another hour.
The management staff had good intentions but the people who were hired to carry out tasks need to be replaced.
