I have lived here for over two years and absolutely love it. It is discouraging to see so many negative reviews. I was telling a friend about renting here and after she looked it up and saw so many negative reviews, I thought I would write a positive one. As far as the noise is concerned, I feel that the walls are very good at keeping out noise from my neighbors. I do hear an occasional garbage disposal or an occasional loud tv but considering that we are sharing walls with others, I think that what we hear is very minimal. I not only find the noise from the other apartments is minimal but the inner walls of our apartment are also very "thick" and the tv can't be heard from the living room to the bedrooms. Maintenance is timely. I do have to say that I was frustrated by the response times when I moved in two years ago, but for the last year or so, it has consistently been the same day or right away the next - even if the request was made later in the day. I am puzzled by the review regarding complaining about the drains. I also have had some standing water on occasion in the bathroom sinks but that would happen in my house as well due to my long hair. All I do is contact the office and someone comes and unclogs it the same day. The office staff is very friendly and has been mostly consistent since I have been here. They seem to make the effort to know the people coming in and out and are very approachable. They definitely work with you to make accommodations if you want, to make it feel more like home. I feel like the apartment itself is very homelike and does not feel at all like a typical apartment. I moved here after living in a house and it was a very smooth transition for us. It felt very home-like since day one. Things are updated and when things have needed updating, I found that making a reasonable request has gotten results. I absolutely love the full-size washer and dryer and when the door to the laundry closet is shut, you can not hear they are on. One of my favorite things though has been the other residents. There has been little turnover in the apartments right around me and I recognize many of the people I encounter here. People are friendly and courteous in general. I love the location and trails and have always felt safe here. The workout room is clean and updated and the community room is very inviting. I plan to stay here for awhile and would definitely recommend it.
