My neighbor told me about this website and the bad press some are giving our apts. So I decided to write something. I want good neighbors and it appears someone is trying to give the place a bad name. I wonder if it could be someone with a problem paying rent on time. They do make sure rent is in when expected. I don't do drugs and have never heard gun shots. Nor have I seen a raid.
If you are considering renting from here you could check with the police first. It's a good place to live, as apartments go. Sure there are nicer ones but not for this price in this location.
I just urge you to look beyond this web site if you are considering renting one.

My problems with Four Seasons had nothing to do with paying rent, or feeling safe. I had no problems with either. My problems had to do with the poor conditions of the apartments- inside and out. That and the absolutely clueless "manager" who only has a job there because of Daddy. I found a MUCH nicer apartment with MUCH more qualified management for significantly less $$$$. My advice? Keep Looking!!

It is not just 1 person that has posted on this site, Stay there for a year and see if you actually think that way. It's a dump. And the blonde bimbo called me a liar and yelled at me over the phone for a problem that was completely their fault. Not very professional. As well as slandering me to new renters. And they don't even go away when you leave. Good luck getting your deposit when you do leave too.

I didn't mind the apartment. My floor was ok, but the cealing on the lower level was caving in and it took them well over a month to fix. However, you get what you pay for. I had issues with noisy and shady neighbors, but the apartment has no control over how people should behave. What the apartment complex does have control over: I aggree that the manager is horrible. I'm a young professional who always payed my rent on time and she was consistantly rude to me, always yelling on the phone at other tennents and her lack of professionalism was astounding. I agree with the others, Keep looking!!! There are tons of apartments in the area and for only about $20 more you can get a nicer building, nicer people, and management that actually cares about the quality of life rather than $$$$.

I think you were suppose to click "I'm the manager" rather then "I'm a resident" !!!

Gee, your comment seems more like a marketing ad to get more 'victims' I mean residents to fill up all the vacancies. You are more likely a staff member writing to boost the morale of this site's many bold negative statements, of which you call "bad press". There is a first amendment right to do such as what you are so obviously offended by.
Also, there was so a raid! They were out there a whole day with marked and unmarked vehicles, sporting bullet proof vests. I think you should go check with the police YOURSELF. Just because your friend or you did not conveniently "see anything", well that isn't very convincing!
And what does your non-use of drugs have to do with your hearing of gun shots? (Funny how you group those 2 things together in the same sentence, and so suddenly after your accusation, as though you were trying to smear someone indirectly with an inside knowledge of business dealings) I would imagine most residents from any of the 6 buildings probably did not hear those shots either. People work, travel and shop and are not usually so investigative into what is happening outside their window.
************************
I would just "URGE YOU" (politely, of course) to open your ears/eyes to the concerns that are being brought on this site, because people tend to speak kindly when they have been treated kindly, but clearly there are repetitive comments about the rudeness and unprofessionalism that presides over the "lowlife" rent payers no matter HOW they try to approach legitimate needs or matters with management. It is a no win situation that many here on this site do seem to be having; and rather presumptuous of you to assume it is merely because they don't pay their rent on time.
(Unless, of course, you hold a position that allows you access to that private information that you are now airing publicly.)
By the way, what constitutes a good neighbor? I think many would agree that "good neighbors" WILL warn others, and that is what this site is about: those having experienced being a tenant at a given place simply sharing their ratings with those who want a well rounded idea of their potential future home at that same place. I believe most people want to leave fair replies, but in the case of this place's management team - it seems hard pressed to say many nice things if they are not so nice to their residents. Shame, shame.
Apartment Ratings is definitely not going to be a false marketing campaign for this complex.
"Great place great price, great place great price, great place great price"...NOT!
At what price in the end? Most here are saying that they get cheated by that point.
Smiles are easy when waiting for a person to sign the lease and pay up $. Dishonest business is when that money is not being used to make the necessary repairs, not adhering to that written lease agreement with those paying renters who call in notifying a problem on the property, and being sneaky with well worded clauses to excuse oneself from obligation or to entrap the tenants.
The people should be heard by Four seasons Villa!
Honor your leases, and not just for your own benefit or gain!
Be honest!
Be fair!
and for humanity's sake, stop demeaning your residents. Do respect them as the individual human beings they are.

"Tenants in these situations are faced with a critical choice of either quietly accepting their common housing problems or fighting together for improvements with techniques that have proven effective throughout the country. The needed changes can come about only if the tenants are willing to work for their own interests. While the possibility of fighting a wealthy landlord might at first appear awesome, tenants must recognize the potential of combining their economic, political, and community power. Just as landlords have banded together to protect their interests, tenants must also join together in order to get meaningful improvements in housing conditions. A group of united tenants can collectively exert more pressure for their views than they could individually. In neighborhoods where such collective power has been organized, tenant associations have been instrumental in holding down rent increases, altering leases, and improving the physical conditions, maintenance services, and parking facilities of apartment complexes."
"The simplest way of showing tenant solidarity is to present the landlord with a signed petition listing the common problems or needed repairs. If unsuccessful, the list can be taken to the housing code inspector and used to arrange for multiple inspections at the same time. The landlord who receives a series of violation notices will be under greater pressure to comply. Once the tenant association has sufficient support, a public confrontation or negotiating session with the landlord should be arranged."
"Tenant associations are much more likely to achieve lasting changes and can serve as watchdogs over management policies and rent levels. If you are interested in starting a tenant???s association in your area, you could begin by talking to your neighbors to see if they are experiencing similar problems with the landlord. You may be surprised how many share the problem and are angry enough to do something about it. A well-planned and publicized community meeting is the second step for airing grievances and planning strategy. The tenant organizations listed in the following section will assist other tenants in forming an association. Organized tenants can use strategy and their numbers to win battles in the apartment complexes, courts, legislature, and government agencies."

Smells like a rat! One of my gifts is discernment and this review is dripping. I have yet to write my own review of this apartment complex but I enjoy reading the truth. So I frequently visit www.apartmentratings.com just to relive the horror stories at Four Seasons Villa. I expected the blonde manager months ago to deceive you, the reader with a few positive reviews. After reading the last two reviews, I believe she???s been alerted to this wonderful site. I'm sure there are people who have had no trouble with Four Seasons Villas, but not many. I thought my neighbors were bad tenants when I moved in and they told me how awful the manager was (Charity). I've never lived somewhere that treats residents poorly, if they're not problem tenants or something. Whoa was this a new experience. I didn't realize how right they were until I had to deal with them about a standard maintenance issue (not caused by me). They treated me as if I caused the problem (I see they do this a lot) and were downright nasty. They deal with you in a condescending tone nearly all the time and treat everyone as if they are a problem tenant, regardless of having a clean history. TONS of people move in, then stay their 6 or 12 months then leave, almost all cursing the place. If they were so happy (in the main review) why did they post it anonymously??
