The management overall was great. The "weekend ladies" weren't much help but the weekday people were pretty good. The maintenance guy was great..its unfortunate that we had to call him as often as we did. NOISE is a HUGE issue here. We lived on an end unit and every time we would watch TV in our spare bedroom (the second bedroom was used for the t.v. room) it sounded like a heard of elephants every time someone ran up the stairs or even down the hallway. Bad idea if you have little ones.We could also hear the people below us ALL the time. Over the summer if you have a day off and live anywhere close to kids don't plan on sleeping in. The units facing the parking lot can constantly hear the traffic and people getting in and out of their cars. The door frames looked like a dog spent hours chewing away at them. The second hand smoke was horrible! We seriously walked down the halls holding our breath on a regular basis. Anytime we were home on the weekends we would have to light candles because the smoke would seep in through under the door. During the winter there were multiple water pipes that broke in each of the buildings because none of them have anything for insulation. We know of at least one family in our building that got flooded out of their apartment from it. Also...expect a HIGH heat bill because there is no insulation...we also had to put blankets up against our patio/deck doors to keep the cold out. The blankets actually had ice on them from it...We read some pretty bad reviews on sites like this one before we moved in and when we asked about it, we were assured that all of the problems mentioned were taken care of and that it was from a bad group of people they had at the beginning and that the buildings were still under construction when those reviews were written.
