I was fearful moving into Jefferson at first - only because of the reviews on this site. But since I've moved in (July 2008), I have loved living here. The only complaint I have is I don't like the gates in our gated community. It isn't a pain for me - but for my guests - and it drives me/them nuts. But otherwise, I love this apartment building... from the heated garage to the resort like pool in the summer to the health facility provided. I feel generally spoiled!
I've only had one maintenance request done - and it was done in a very timely manner and fixed to perfection.
The staff are very friendly, know me by name, etc. And when they had to redo the roofs due to hail damage, they stopped our cars on the way out one morning to provide us a bagged breakfast just to thank us for dealing with the roof work. On my birthday, they left a note at my door with candy. It was thoughtful - and I think overall, the staff is very thoughtful and caring.
I may move out at the end of my lease, just to find something more affordable, but I absolutely love living here. It is worth the money - it is! I just don't know if I can afford it another year. I'll miss it a lot if I move...

even this very positive review shows a concern for the noise level. I dont think this complex has particularly noisy tenants, I think it was just very cheaply made with almost no insulation in floors and walls.

You know - if I can go in and change my review - I will... I didn't mean to do noise at a 1 bar level. I very seldom hear my neighbors. It isn't noisy at all - for me at least. Sorry if that confused you - I will try and change it!

I agree with the original response. The buildings are horribly insulated and you can hear everything. I fell asleep every night listening to my neighbor snoring. I eventually got a sound machine to drown out the snoring. I also could hear my neighbors upstairs doing kereoke into all hours of the night and could hear the bass from their TV. Also I could understand every word that was said when my neighbors upstairs were on their deck. If a person chooses to move into Jefferson at Plymouth I definately recommend a sound machine.

I must not have particularly noisy neighbors, because I think this complex is better than most apartments for insulation. I agree with your comment - I would like to stay another year, but the way they keep raising the rent I can't afford it. You would think they would want to retain their current residents, but apparently not.
