Not worth the money and worthless management

We were supper impressed with the property when we moved in. The clubhouse that you could use (and rent), the pool area, the awesome gym and movie theater not to mention the unique design of the apartments...that went sour about the first week. The gym has several broken pieces of equipment at all times, usually the most popular items, so you can not work out during morning of evening rush times. I paid an ex 65/mo for a lifetime gym membership and was much happier. The clubhouse can only be used during the hours the office if open (they are open 10-5, excuse me but when do most people work'') You can rent it for 75 dollar, but not on major holidays and although it is connected to the pool, you MAY NOT use the pool if you rent the clubhouse. The movie theater is the sames hours, and you may rent that for 25 dollars. The only people expected to follow the rules are residents, maintnence crews continuously smoke in my heated underground garage making my car stink (there are no smoking signs posted all over the garage), there is no smoking by the pool, but maintence smokes there ALL the time. We were hassled about our storage unit 3 audits in a row. We submitted in writing each time which storage cage was ours, and they kept taking our money and hassling us about not paying. EVERY winter and spring our ENTIRE apartment reaks of smoke...management has done NOTHING despite all of our complaints over the last 2.5 years. The walls are paper thin and you can hear everything. Their idea of managing is a new sheet of paper posted in the elevator, mail area and stairwells - other than that, they will avoid conflict at all costs. They are incredibly un resident friendly. Yes, they know your names, but the only people who benefit here are the folks who are going to trash the property, be loud and noisy, not respect the rules and generally make it a nightmare for the rule followers...as states prior, the management team will do NOTHING about it. Live someplace else.
Just an FYI- after reading LUXURY with TLC review...I have written a realistic, and yes negative review of Jefferson at Plymouth, I would like to say that I JOYFULLY gave my 60 day notice (was not evicted)I couldn't get out fast enough, was NEVER reprimanded by management for anything as we are RULE FOLLOWERS...but that is the point isnt it' The people who ARE the problem never get reprimanded either. Perhaps you should know what you are talking about before you spout off.

I have been thinking the same thing lately... especially about the maintenance crew. They drive me nuts and I swear they barely work - they just sit around smoking. I think my neighbors and I are quite people so that is why I don't hear anything... therefore, my review was good.

I would like to comment on the rental of the great room in the club house. It is not worth the $75. You don't have direct access to the room if it is after hours. Your guests will have to go out onto the pool deck and through the gym to use the bathroom. We had to put signs up directing our guests how to get to the room. Also make sure that they have not double booked the room. I rented the room for my bridal shower and they double booked the room and the other lady was more vocal about the mistake and she got the room and I had to use the theater for my bridal shower. Real classy right? And then another complaint is they do not give you a place to put the trash. They told us they would put a bin outside for us and they didn't and we had to carry our trash to the apartment building and through it down the shoot.
All in all save your $75 dollars and find another meeting place.
