It is a total nightmare living at Manor Royal, the parking is absolutely ridiculous. There about 5 guest spots for over 100 apartments!! They constantly tow cars for no reason, this has happened to me twice already within about a month time period. The office staff is uncaring and unfriendly. I have lived here for 2 years now and no one that works here has any idea who I am except for one new person. Everything I was told when I moved in as far as policies for moving apartments, parking spaces, renweing the lease, the deposit, etc. I have come to find out were all untrue. Of course the management doesn't care to right that but they will just tell me that's not how it is and that's it. The very first night I was here my vehicle got broken into! No one in the office even cared enuogh to say anything about it at all. It is also obvious that the management company does not care about the tennants what so ever, but just their own greediness. I have never gotten a maintenance request completed on the first call ever, several times I have had to call three times to get things taken care of. The rent is outrageous! There are large additional fees for everything; parking, pets, etc. You have to pay all of your own utilities and the aprox. prices they give for that are also untrue. It is at least double what they tell you. I am the only person living in a one bedroom apartment and my cheapest utl. bill ever was $60!! It goes as high as $120 without warning at any time. This of course does not include your Xcel, phone, or cable either. Those are additional. There are constantly more and more rules being added on what you cannot do. The only thing they have going for them is that they allow dogs, but you have to pay a large pet rent fee every month and a pet deposit as well. If they did not have that I doubt anyone would live here at all. I do not reccomend it to anyone to rent here, unless you want your next year to be horrible. The only reasonI moved here was because I have a dog and now I hate coming home each night to this place because I just hate it so much and am so happy to be leaving!!!
