Renters beware!

I have lived here at Manor Royal for over 2 years. During that time, I have witnessed no less then 5 different people working in the office, none of whom seem to be qualified to work in a rental office or communicate with tenants. I have seen neighbors allowed to let their dogs to their "business" on the property lawn with out cleaning up after them, despite complaints and the fact that it's in every tenants lease that picking up after your dog is "Mandatory". I have seen large urine stains on the hallway carpets, smelling up the building. I have delt with our elavator being "Out of Order" for more then TWO MONTHS, when management said it'd work in two weeks. I have had neighbors who stomp across their floor- my ceiling- at all hours of the night. Dogs barking 24/7. While these complaints may seem directed towards other tenants, it's MANAGEMENTS fault that these people are allowed to stay. I put in notices of these situations, all of them go unanswered and ignored and the problems continue and often accelerate. Recently, a neighbor who lives in close proximity received 45 noise and lease violation complaints in ONE DAY. Normally, you'd think that this behavior would get someone evicted. Not here. This place is a disgrace and I'm looking forward to moving the second my lease is up, in 2 months.

I agree with this post. I recently looked over the property, looking for a 2 bedroom for my young daughter and myself. The woman who worked in the rental office was "out" at the time of my scheduled appointment, and I had to wait 20 minutes for her to return so that I could tour the building and look at the apartment. My tour was awful; the hallways smelled foul, the walls and carpet were badly marked and stained, and it seemed like every apartment door we passed had a large dog barking madly from the inside. Frightening for my little one. On completion of my tour, I found the office worker rude, and ill-informed when answering my questions about security (locked entry doors to the building were propped open with sticks, a MAJOR security concern) & maintenance (did management plan on interior cleaning/ painting of the building?) I was thoroughly disgusted and couldn't get out of there fast enough! If this is how thet treat potental renters, I'd hate to see how they treat those brave enough to live here.
