I would not recommend this apartment complex to anyone! I lived in the pet building for three years and it was horrible. My appliances were built in 1983. The dishwasher and washer were very loud, and it took 90 minutes to dry a load of laundry. I had significant water damage and mold problems, and the staff - leasing and maintenance - were totally inadequate and insincere. I was really surprised, too, when I bought my house with new appliances and a/c; they are so quiet and efficient compared to the ones in my old apartment. The biggest surprise was how much less my utiliy bills were. It seemed like a good deal at Park Place, but the everything is so old, it will end up costing you more in the end.
I also had issues with how much doggy doo was on the property. I have 2 dogs that I managed to pick up after year round, but nobody else did. My dogs were treated for parasites on more than one occasion.
Buy a house. My mortgage is the same as my rent. You're better off.

I agree. My energy bills are $150 a month. The appliances are old and LOUD! My dryer takes 2 cycles, so you were lucky with one and a half.
