I have lived here 1 1/2 yrs. Rented it because it had washer/dryer in unit, central a/c and spacious with a heck of a come-on deal. A/C is so loud can't have the doors or windows open if your neighbor has their a/c running. The fridge is old and spews out so much heat the floor is hot to walk on in your barefeet and it is LOUD. I keep changing the furnace filters and buy expensive ones to try to cut down on the dust but it is everywhere. They do nothing about it! The toilet is broke, every faucet has broke and the plungers in the bathroom sinks are broke. We are just two adults who take pride in our place and are not hard on it. But everything falls apart. Common area maintence is very bad! People spit and spill in the halls and elevators and days go by without it being cleaned. Security is a joke. We have had a bike stolen as well as all the hub caps from our car and even gas from a locking gas cap. They are suppose to provide package delivery service if you are not home. I have had packages sit in their office for a month with them telling me they don't have it. When UPS delivers they no longer are responsible, the office of Park Place is responsible for the package but they claim they don't have it. Had a fedex delivery on Sat they signed for but they claim they don't have it.

The complex is under new ownership since Feb 06. The new staff are rude and incompetent.

Stay away. I am not a racist, but if you are white you will be a minority amoung ------- (not native American type) who have taken the complex over.

I agree about being a minority. Probably half of the tenants are Middle Eastern. I could smell curry in my apartment all the time.

They must have had a lot of turnover since this was posted because I have yet to see an Indian in my building. The tennents are somewhat diverse but not extremely. I see the maintenance lady every morning since I've moved in so they have really upped the cleanliness of the building.

I still live here and I agree with the writer. This place has a great move in special but once your in- they forget all about you. Nothing is clean, the halls are never vaccumed and there is an overwhelming smell of curry all over the place.
