Watch out for anonamous reviews here. Someone has been writing bad reviews over and over to pull down the rating. If you are a jerk to management staff they are not going to be peaches to you - that's how life works. If you are nice they will go out of their way to help you.
I have had a great experience here. The staff when I moved in were extremely helpful when I needed a place fast. They have always been available to get packages and at all times during their listed hours. The office is open til 6 or 7 pm all weeknights and they are also open on the weekends. My apartment was clean and and move in ready. The only thing that i didn't like was that the appliances (stove, microwave, dishwasher) are kind of old, they do function well though. The other appliances are relatively new.
I live in the pet building. There are a few people who do not clean up after their pets but management cleans stuff within 24 hours of any incidences.
Indoor parking has been good. I don't really know about outside but there are usually spaces if I have guests. Security has been good. Doors are not propped open unless someone is moving in or out and they are right there. The one garage door is a problem but it's caused by residents jamming the door button.
There are parks and trails nearby and a fitness room. This has been a great place for me.
I could live without my neighbor's smoking. It was never a problem until my current chimney neighbor moved in though. Most residents smoke outside.

Objective review: Positives: Large apartment layouts, excellent (full-sized) washer & dryer, and relatively inexpensive for allowing pets. Negatives: Dirty, not well-kept apartment buildings, parking can be very difficult (at times), pet-owners (neighbors) routinely allow their pets to urinate & deficate in the garages and even on the back stairs and it is never cleaned up (by the pet-owners or management), the back yard is covered in animal feces (good luck keeping your shoes clean), management is the most disorganized management I have ever dealt with (they routinely send us threatening messages about warning to pay rent that has already been paid, signing leases that have already been signed and even sometimes telling us not to pay rent because we've overpaid even though we have not!) This has happened almost 10 times now in less than 10 months. My girlfriend witnessed a drug deal going down as she was on her way to work as a kindergarten teacher. Saw some people skinny-dipping in the pool late at night. It's not a HORRIBLE place to live, but it could be way better. I'd give it about a 3-out-of-10. A good transition place for relatively little money. As long as you don't mind animal feces...

Did you know that they skip the criminal/credit background check on some people who need to move in here in a hurry? If they did that for me, who else could be your neighbor? Also, I've noticed dog poop in the stairway that sat their for at least 3 days...that tracks all over the building! And as far as the staff being polite...I've been in customer service for 13 years. There is NEVER any excuse to be rude to one of your customers or clients. I know from experience how strenuous this business can be. Customer service is more important than you think. If a resident is upset about something, s/he might call management and complain. This company seems to retaliate instead of help! I had a complaint about a package once, instead of taking blame for misplacing it, they accused the delivery service and me! I'm not complaining about the things we have because this is honestly the most amenity-filled apartment I've ever lived in, but for the amount of money we pay to reside here, they should at least act like they care a little bit more. I think I would give this apartment a rating of only 2-out-of-10. Difinitely could be better.
