Not a great place to live

The management/leasing team is rude and acts like they have no time to even listen to you or help you. They act like you are annoying them. The woman manager is especially rude. Reported problems with my appliances and had to call 4 times over a two week period before someone actually came out to fix them. I have a mold problem in my bathroom where was a hole in my wall and I could see the mold between the wall and the shower. When I called to report it to management they sent someone up who just filled the hole with putty to cover up the mold! I live in the dog building and people in that building just don't care. There is pee all over the hallway carpets. People let their pets pee and poop in the elevator, in the front lobby and don't clean it up. People do not put their dogs on a leash when they are exiting their apartments. There have been many times I have opened my apartment door only to see a huge dog running down the hallway! The police are usually at my building at least once every other week. They are spending all their money on building a new clubhouse when they should be spending that money on new appliances and updating the apartments. The kids in the building get blamed for everything the goes wrong or if something breaks...when it's really the irresponsible adults that don't give a crap about where they live who are ruining things. The apartment works yell at the kids who play outside every time they see them. The apartments are not secure...anyone can get in...the doors are always proped open. There have been mutiple break in's in the underground garage and management has never done anything to fix the situation. They just post a letter stating to remember to lock your doors because there has been a break in. If there was ever a ghetto in Plymouth...Park Place is it!

Look out there are several people writing bad reviews just to bring down ratings!!! I have lived at park place apartments for several years and I have never known anyone there to be intentionally rude. But lets face it....if you are rude to them they are not going to be rosie to you! I have only had a few minor problems since I have lived here but when I contacted the manager, Mary Rud, she was very professional and handled my problem in a timely fashion. As for maintenance they have always been prompt in fixing any issues that have arrived in my apartment. Only once did I have to have them come back because the problem was not fixed, and they returned immediatly and corrected the problem for good. furthermore, I think that it is only fair to keep in mind that people only write these reviews when they are mad about something and they are looking for a place to vent. After all everyone is human and they can only fix your problems if you call and polietly let them know you have one.

They did change the codes on the garage door openers for the underground garage. But that really doesn't solve the problem. Cameras would have made me feel a lot safer. More then theft could happen in an enclosed area like that, and they just don't think about that.

The last apartment I lived in installed cameras after a few break ins, only to have the camera's broken. Unfortunatly there are just bad people in the world, I don't know if that would make a difference.

Our door in the stair well to outside was always proped open too. No wonder there were break ins. We tried to close the doors ourselves but they didn't even latch.
