I truly do not know where to begin. This is the most appalling place I have ever lived in. When we first moved in almost a year ago, the place was falling apart. There were stains on our carpets in every single room of the 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment. The tile in the kitchen and bathrooms were stained yellow and had gauges in it. The walls were stained and horribly painted and it was dirty. From there on out, it only got worse. Our upstairs neighbors have rabid dogs that try to attack people and their dogs and children plus they boom their stereo and surround sound up until 4 AM. The office has never done anything about it in spite of complaints from several residents.

Half of our outlets do not work and they have never come to fix them. The windows all need to be replaced, our apartment was ice cold all winter long and we would turn the heat up to the very highest point on the thermostat but it didn't warm it up in here. Now that it's spring there is an infestation of box elder bugs because the windows all need replacing and they refuse to do anything.

The office ladies seem nice until something seriously needs to be done around here. There is dog poop everywhere outside. It's pretty gross.

There are 3 good things about these apartments.
1. They accept dogs.
2. The apartments are pretty large.
3. It's a beautiful view.

But, that's just not worth it. Many of my neighbors who moved in around the same time we did plan on moving after the serious problems they've had. I would not recommend it. Find somewhere else, there are plenty of places that accept dogs.

Wow, you have some serious issues. Every time I have called for any type of maintenance (big or small) SAME DAY Response. My fridge was running pooring and SAME DAY..got a brand new one. They enforce rules that are in their control. Keep the grounds looking great. I have never seen dog doo doo ANYWHERE on the property. Sounds like your problems are something Law enforcement or you yourself need to control. They have carpets cleaned on a constant basis...updates, Brand new washers, roof, etc. As far as safety goes. The Plymouth police department highly recommends this property! See for yourself. The office staff has gone out of there way for us and from the sounds of it our neighbors are please to live there...I know 2 neighbors that just renewed their lease. Others near us have lived there for 6-7 years.

I would like for anyone who may read this to truly understand Parkside Apartments. My children and I have lived at Parkside for 1yr and 2mons and this has been the best place to live. The staff is great, most of the neighbors are truly pleasant and nice (especially when meeting other dog owners, there is much respect among dog owners) the apartments are nice, and the view is beautiful, not to mention that French Park is right in our back yard. I totally agree that this person has some serious issues. Most likely because he or she, even they (if this is a couple) must really be unhappy with his or her life to want to ruin the reputation of such a wonder establishment like Parkside Apartments. The staff is always more than happy to help and the maintenance crew is always on top of things. Regarding your neighbors, maybe you should worry about yourself and get a life instead of worrying about them. I had neighbors just like you and guess what they did the same thing you???re doing so my family and I was forced to relocated and come to find out the people that did all that complaining about my kids and dogs ended up being a bunch of losers and got evicted for not paying their rent. Moreover, after the management who actually listened to people like you realized that they had made a big mistake tried to make a piece offering for my family and I to stay since they just got ripped off by the complaining neighbors. Bad for them and great for us because we found this wonderful place and anyone intelligent enough would not pay your review any attention; because you sound just like the people I used to have to be bothered with. Furthermore, if you do not like music or dogs, then maybe you should not be living here because this is a apartment complex and noises are going to happen, regardless if you or anyone else likes it or not. Maybe you should have a house if you do not want to deal with music, dogs, and dog poop. Oh, let???s not overlook this neighbor above! If these people was disturbing the other neighbors then the office would most definitely handle it, but it seems like you???re exaggerating because you want to make yourself feel better because you do not like yourself. Actually Ms. Anonymous, other neighbors HAVE complained about the upstairs neighbors and your "wonderful staff" has told all of us to call the police over and over again. When their dogs attack, when they wake babies up at 3 AM because they are booming their music or when they knock pictures off the walls or christmas cards off my television. Just because you have had this "wonderful" experience doesn't mean that others haven't had bad experiences. Maybe YOU should get a life or maybe you're just one of the office ladies trying so desperately to get your pathetic reputation out of the toilet. Read the negative reviews, there are problems with this place. Great, you've had an excellent experience. How nice for you but not everyone has so get over yourself and get a life yourself sweetheart.
