I am out searching for an apartment again after being a homeowner for a few years. I lived at parkside for about 2 years and really like it. My family and I moved to MN from out of state for work and toured a few places and were sold on parkside because of the great view of the park.
When we moved in, our apartment wasn't perfect-our diswahser didn't work and there were dead ladybugs under the heatregisters, but other than that, it was what I expected. Whenever we called in a maintenance request the handymen were up same day to fix whatever we needed. We never really had any run-ins with the office since we worked during the day, so I am indifferent on the staff.
The only thing that really bugged us is our upstairs neighbor. They would play loud music at night and the bass went right into our bedroom. The couple times that I took initative and went up to knock on their door, they turned the music off-they never ansewred the door, but at least they shut it off.

It is a good view. Maybe things were better back when you lived there. I am sure people reading these ratings care about how it is being managed now.
