I moved into The Place in 2004 while Real Estate Equities owned the property. They were GREAT. My son still talks about THomas one of the property managers. About 4-5 months into our lease Main Street Properties took over and everything went downhill from there. The office staff were very rude and when you brought up a problem no one understood becuase not one spoke clear english! I had problems with my oven for over 2 months and whenever they came they couldnt find a problem. IT didn't heat up but they swore it did. THere was a broken lighting fixture in the hallway for over a week even after I called management. Then when I moved out my best friend and I cleaned the apartment for an entire day then when the property manager lady came to check me out she didn't know I was in there and was talking about me and how dirty the place was! Needless to say they didn't give me any of my deposit back. I also had a racist note on my car from another tenant and nothing was ever done about it.
As long as Main Street Management owns this place do not rent from them until they learn professionalism and Property Management 101.
