My one-year lease is nearly over; however, due to my dissatisfaction with the apartment complex, I have decided to move out a couple of months early. Here's why:
1. Maintenance is extremely slow (a few times it took them a month to stop by).
2. The management allows pet owners to let their pets use the bathroom near entrances and exits. There are also garbage cans labeled "doggie doo-doo" right outside of these doors, which is not only a foul-smelling health hazard, but particularly embarrassing when entertaining guests. Additionally, some of the doors are surrounded by large shrubs, which made me feel unsafe at night.
3. The complex has a strange smell.
4. The units themselves are outdated and not worth the price of rent. Much nicer units at comparable/cheaper prices can be found elsewhere, including suburbs closer to Minneapolis.
5. Pet noise was never a problem, but the noise level of fellow residents often was (especially from above). lGjq8RUBjvsZjkb5ueji
