only if you have dogs

The only reason to live here is if you have multiple dogs. And don't expect managment to govern other dog owners. It's like living in a kennel with barking at all hours. Also, you have to pay pet deposit AND monthly pet fees. I have lived in three states over many years, always with dogs, and NEVER paid both, always one or the other.
The managment follows the stockbroker philosphy: yesterday you were a prospect, today you are a client. In other words, once you move in the smiles go away. The office keeps banker's hours and, although they stay late for prospective residents, they won't answer the door a second after closing.
If you are looking, you will hear them boast about "community dinners," game nights, and other events. These do happen, but they are hosted by local religous groups who push you to come to church or bible study.
The parking is pretty good, with up front parking for tenants. A few abaondoned trucks though here my year-long stay The security doors are well maintained considering teneants are always popping them open. Maintenance people are all very kind and seemingly skilled, but you have to go thru the office dingbats to put in an order.
Garages are a rip off. They are 2-car and you have to pay for both stalls if you don't want to share. The doors are manual. There is no attached entrance so you have to cross the lot and down the way to get in. And it's in garage lease that you have to SHOVEL SNOW AND ICE from several feet in front of your garage - like in their parking lot!!
They have answering service for after hours, but usually they just send a maid who'll tell you someone will call you next business day.
We have had one roof leak but our neighbors have had nightmares with theirs.
I can say thankfully that in my building there have not been any noisy kids or people loitering in the halls. Only two fire alarms in one year. Both these issues you will usually find in this area's apartments.
You can get fined for ANYTHING by the apartment. They will try to stick you with wear-and-tear. Any malfunctioning sinks, worn caulk or paint; all will try to say it is you misusing things.
People are coming by to dump old furniture in the lot always. Trash dumpsters are always overflowing, but that's what you get in this city.
