My husband and I have lived here for two years and we have just given up on getting ANY maintenance service done at all--can't wait until we have enough money saved up to move out since I've heard they take your deposit and leave you with nothing!

Maintenance people here are incompetent-- when they do show up (sometimes a month after the request) they have to come back three to four more times because they can't get it right the first time!

Also, they let my cat out into the hall twice because they were not paying attention.

The building is falling apart, too. Learned that at one point it was condemned-- I can see why as the stairs are at a very noticeable slant and we have seen water damage, etc.

Parents who live here let their kids run wild. I have seen groups of kids playing in the parking lot many times like it's a playground-- there is a courtyard area but lazy parents feel like they can keep a closer eye on their kids from ground-level apartments if they're in the parking lot. In my car I've had to dodge kids so many times that I can't even count...

Fitness center is a joke-- they have two ellipticals but one has been unusable for six months due to the loud clunking and grinding sounds it makes. There used to be a treadmill, but it's been gone for eight or nine months... hmmm, one elliptical machine for a huge complex with hundreds of residents means that unless you go at 4am you won't get a turn!

Basically, Regency Pointe puts up a great facade, but does not deliver in the least. Pay more and move somewhere else.
