Run, don't walk, away from this place. We spent a year in this hell, and still bear the scars. Why was it so bad' Where to start...

- NOISE. Everywhere. All the time. Every single neighbor will be noisy, guaranteed. And the paper thin walls don't help a bit. They will rent to anyone with a heartbeat, you only need to see your neighbors (or hear them) to see this.

- POOR MAINTENANCE. Terrible. A bird died in our dryer vent because some lazy contractor neglected to put a cover on it. Took a FULL WEEK to get maintenance to take care of it. Got to love a week of rotting flesh smell in your apartment.

- AWFUL PARKING LOTS. Paying rent' Great! Think you'll have a place to park' Fat chance. Most likely some winner who doesn't even live there will be taking your spot. Don't worry, the drug deal will be over shortly, you can take the spot then.

- TERRIBLE CONSTRUCTION. This place is literally falling apart. The elevator never works (disabled and living on the 3rd floor' sucks to be you). The place is always a mess. The high quality tenants going on drunken rampages after the bar closes probably don't help this. And enjoy those 3am-dead-of-winter fire alarms. Good times.

- WORTHLESS EMPLOYEES. Parking in the winter' Hope you have life insurance. The lot may be plowed a week after it snows. By then everything should be packed down all nice and icy and the plow will do no good. Have a problem' Good luck with managment. I've never seen more useless people. Try asking an apartment or rent related question and watch the blank looks you get. If you want something done or changed, best find a law that requires it, thats the only thing that ever got them to take any action.

Buy a house. Seriously, rent at this place could pay the mortgage on a $180K house. There is no good reason to rent here. Unless you have horrible credit or something else that would preclude you from getting a mortgage. In which case, face it, you belong here.

Wow, I don't like living here either, but that crack about the credit and therefore those people belonging here was just plain ignorant.
