I have lived at Shadow Hills for 4 1/2 years and I can say that the management was great for the first 2 years. However recently there has been a managment change and the new management has been rude, disorganized, and unhelpful. The maintanence people are great and quick to fix things when broken- but the office staff leaves much to be desired. On top of that many of the ammenities that were included in the price of rent are now extras- making this facility too costly for what you get.

Also, there has been more theft lately than there ever was- even in the parking garages. I had a bike stolen from my garage stall and when I reported it to the office- they did nothing to let the other residents know of the danger.

First of all if you are going to leave negative comments you should have enough balls to put your name with your comment. Second, have you ever worked in property management? Do you know what it takes to change management and owners of a property?? Doubtful! Third you should have locked your bike like everyone else and how is having your bike stolen a danager? Lastly if you can't afford the rent you shouldn't be living in a luxury apartment community!!

In response to herbs78, I don't think it's relevant whether the person posting the comment has ever worked in property management. If you go to a restaurant and the food is bad, you don't expect the chef run out and rant about how difficult it is to run a kitchen. You expect the professionals hired to manaage a property to do a good job. A well-managed property is one of the "luxuries" of a "luxury apartment community.
