I LOVE my apartment, the location, even the price for what I'm getting. HOWEVER, as soon as the building was bought out by StuartCo, the place went to hell. They fired all staff but 2. New staff sits on their duffs and hardly even look up from their computers when their tenants walk in the door. New development this summer has been kids that now roam the parking lot and vandalize cars. New management also seems to be letting in just about anyone that has cash in hand. It seems as if they are now opening up to Section 8 because that's how the most recent tenants appear to be paying. I used to park next to a new Lexus in the garage. Now it's an older Oldsmobile with rust all over. They're putting up gaudy signs everywhere advertising themselves, painted just about every surface black instead of more inviting colors, they hose down the garage quite a few times a week that is now inviting mold because of the heat and humidity and once it took me 2 weeks to get a package because management was NEVER in the office. That's just to name a couple of specific events, only minor, yes, but still an indication of the recent decline in how things are handled here. Now, I really can't wait to move. I wish I could take the assistant manager with me when I move, though. She was the one that they kept (which was a wise move for the new management). Unfortunately, she's the only one that cares and actually listens to her tenants. She's also the only one that has actually ever reached out and shown concern/care for this place. I'll be sad to leave, but then again, the Stonehill that I love left with the old management. It doesn't feel like home anymore now that StuartCo is here.

I TOTALLY agree with you on what you wrote. Everything is a wreck since the New Management came in. I waited outside the rental office one Sunday for almost 1 hour waiting for someone to come into the office, I went to my apt for about 5 minutes and came back to find the NEW management leaving towards the elevator, informing me she will be back in about 5 minutes never the less I waited for 20 minutes and went on my merry old way. At this point, I am debating whether I want to stay here or move out, even the little extra money I have to pay will be will worth it....just to get out of a place like this. I agree with the fact that kids are everywhere now a days, I dont disagree with kids being out on the property BUT when backing out of a parking spot a couple of times I had a child or 2 run behind my car, with me missing them within inches. It is very unsafe and dangerous, it has just recently started since the NEW management came into town. The previous management used to have events to get everyone together, the last event that this management had was the PIG roast, keep in mind I dont think anyone wanted to see a Roasted Pig when they are about to eat. My family was at home and even though they wanted to meet all the neighbors they didnt want to go out there, not to mention I missed a package delivery on that day because no one was in the office, The assistant manager was there for as long as she could be but you cant expect her to always be there while others are out having fun. And when I saw her again she was bringing in all the stuff from outside. I hate the Black color they have put all around this place, it feels dull. I agree it is not inviting at all. Any color could have worked WHY BLACK? I do not see a good future for this place.
Adios Stonehill....Hello some other luxury apt complex!!!
