DO NOT LIVE HERE.

Let me just make this a quick "DON'T BE FOOLED."
I am not one of those people who is too picky. I know apartments have sounds, and you make compromises living in places like this. Renting is different than owning, and I am a very tolerant person.
But, I am 100% convinced that the GOOD reviews on this apartment are written by the employees and management. I have spoken with numerous neighbors in more than one building over a period of 18 months who are all planning on giving notice as soon as possible and can't wait to leave.
I don't know where to start with this place.
1. Management is so RUDE to people. Especially Tammy Lee, and Rachel. They were talking about my sister and I heard them making fun of her...at the front desk...how professional. The worst part was that it had nothing to do with the apartment building...it was about her weight!!!
2. Our rent check has been lost twice, and filed proceeding for eviction, and we had to show them our bank records to prove they had ALREADY CASHED THE CHECK. No apologies. All we got was an "OOPS"
3. The door going out to the waterheater (which is located in a closet in the apartment ) goes directly outside, and during the winter we had to put up blankets, boxes, pillows, stuffing, anything we could find to not be FROZEN out of the house. It caused ice to form on our floor and blankets and furniture near the door. They forgot that a door leading outside probably shouldn't have an inside door installed on it, with an inch space on the bottom...oops. Our heating bill was outrageous.
4. Because the ice left water damage in the sprin, we lost our 500 dollar deposit, and we didn't even do anything wrong.
5. Poop is all over the lawns which sucks when you step in it, and also kills the grass to a nice brown color.
6. My car has been broken into in the garage twice. when I reported it to them, they told me "well, um let's take your number in case we hear anything"...
7. Plumbing is terrible. Enough said there.
8. The walls are so thin, you can hear someone sneaze, and these walls chip like crazy. If you brush up against them, or have a couch against a wall, it chips the paint immediately. Very cheap paint.
We read some pretty bad reviews on sites like this one before we moved in and when we asked about it, we were ASSURED by all the "sweet smiling girl staff" that all of the problems mentioned were taken care of and that it was from a bad group of people they had at the beginning and a poor "previous management company".... NOT THE CASE FOLKS.
This management company is terrible.
I am thanking my lucky stars I am outta here.

This statement is False. 1. The girls in the office are not there for you to walk on. They are there to up hold rules and regulations you sign when becoming a tenant. Just because you do not agree with what is set forth, don't take it out on the receptionist, its not her job to deal with your attitude. Next time try talking with the property manager. 2. Your rent check is always late. Try paying your bills! 3. I live here and I have never had a problem, maybe bad luck follows you. What is an acceptable heating bill for you? It looks like you are just a little too cheap to me. 4. If you took the correct steps to prevent any damage to your apartment you would have your $500. Try reporting it in a timely manner. 5. Do you pick up your dogs poop? It is your responsibility. 6. The property has nothing to do with your car being broke into. Get renters insurance, lock your doors and call the police when you have something missing. I have lived here for 1 year and I have never seen anyones car damaged. When people leave their doors unlocked stuff does come up missing. Not everyone is honest. 7. Standard Minnesota plumming! 8. You live in an apartment. It is natural to hear things. You know what you are getting your self into when signing the contract. I do have one complaint, I can hear the traffic from 494 at night. But I knew that was going to be a problem before I rented. I would say that your claims and allegations have no truth. You are just a mad resident that wishes to slam the property because you can't afford your rent and/or you have had a harsh collision with the rule and regulations in which you signed. Here some advise next time you sign a lease read from top to bottom, and if you still have trouble get a lawer. My guess is that this type of trouble follows you where ever you go. Type moving to the inner city!!!! |

I would like to apologize on behalf of Stoneleigh Management for the negative experience that you have had while staying with us. However, I am extrememly concerned about the false accusations in the first statement in this posting. It is so unfortunate that we have such dishonesty on this website regarding the professionalism of this office. Under no circumstances did any of us take part in a conversation of that manner, and we want to reassure anyone reading this posting that the allogations are entirely false. Pinnacle has been present here at Stoneleigh since January of 2006 and cannot take responsibility for anything that has occurred prior to our takeover. All that we can do is make the best of what was handed to us and work hard to earn back the trust of our residents. So far we have had an excellent response from our current residents as well as our most recent residents. We wish you the best of luck in finding a new home that better meets your needs in the future. Thank you.

I thought this review was right on the money...the management is horrible. Roll their eyes everytime they have to get up and get a package that might be behind the desk, can't fix machines in workout area and call us twice a week to ask if we have a storage space (because apparently they didn't write it down the first six times). Then when our air broke they told us that someone would come after the weekend, why wouldn't you have to wait 5 days to have that fixed? Last thing, why are they employees who are apparently working so hard writing reviews to refute allegations by people who have actually lived at Stoneleigh, sounds like you guys are real busy. PS...Rachel is rude, that's employee of the month standards at Pinnacle!
