There are so many things wrong with Stoneleigh. There is no circulation whatsoever in the apartments. All of our window sills have mold on them because the condensation leaks through. They charge you bogus utilities. We left our heat off for an entire month, and we still got the same bill amt that we had gotten when we used it. The hot water is nonexistent. You cannot take more than a 5-10 minute shower without running out of hot water. If someone else has taken a shower in the last 2 hours-you will have no hot water. Our dishwasher is a piece of junk and SO LOUD. Also, you can hear the pipes clicking and water leaking inside your walls after running the dishwasher and washer. The dryer is also terrible. You have to run it about 3 times to get a small load of laundry to dry. Because of the lack of circulation, it always smells musty and gross in the hallways and in the apartments. Management doesn't keep track of who is parking in which space, and they don't do anything about it if you complain that someone is in your space. I pay $100/month to park underground, and I expect to have the spot I'm paying for. There is dog poop all over the grass areas. The workout room is tiny and crappy. The management company is nosy and rude. They went through our mail which is illegal. They have come into our apartment multiple times without giving the proper 24 hours notice. (it was NOT an emergency) You can hear the highway from your apartment, which is really annoying at night. I would NEVER recommend living here. I absolutely hate it and can't wait to move out in a few months. This place is disgusting.

I have lived at Stoneleigh three years now and agree with some of what you said. The circulation is bad, and the hot water does suck. However, I am confused with other issues you pointed out. For instance, are you not aware that there is a fitness center in the main building that is much larger than the others. I also question why they would go through your mail, that doesn't make a lot of sense. In the years I've lived there, I have not a problem like that, nor have they entered my apartment without proper notice.

I agree with the last response. Believe or not, but it doesn't make a whole lot of sense for the management company to single out the original poster (OP). There are ups and downs to all apartments. Maybe the OP should live in a SF home or a box on the street. At least there you will not be able to post this garbage online. Good luck enjoying that unhappy, grumpy life!

I also lived there year 2006... all you said were true! Its not worth what you are paying for.
