The part that made us upset right off the bat is we were moving cross country. We were guaranteed a rate and then time to sign the lease at move in and they say that rate is a discount. The real rate is 300 more so if you want to buy a house you have to pay the full rate for every month there, plus the 1500 they had mentioned, plus 2 months following the day you give notice (standard purchase agreement 30-45 days) we told them that's not what we agreed to. They said that's how they do it and if we didn't like it go some where else. All of our belongings were one day away with a moving company. We couldn't get another apt. the next day. We would have had to do a 12 month lease at 200 a month for a storage unit plus have to move again and live in a hotel for a month while we tried to find something. Walls are insulated good you almost never hear the people next to you. The floors are pretty bad we have a 16 month old and the people below us are always pounding on there ceiling (what are we supposed to do tie up our kid and never let him walk around') safety is so so I've never heard of any one being assaulted but there have been a lot of break ins lately in the underground parking. It's only a matter of time before a lady or older person gets attacked. I won't let my wife go in the garage at night. All fedex packages get dropped off at the front desk then you get a note on your door, we have gotten around 20 deliveries, and we've only had one stolen from behind the desk (no signature required). There is minor graffiti once in a while it gets cleaned up pretty quick. The maint. is so so we called them twice they just show up when they get to it within about a week.(no notice, they just go into your apartment whenever they feel) The first time (we called the first day there, they showed up a week later) nothing big the microwave face was cracked across and he said it worked fine and would note it on our move in sheet. for what we pay we don't want to have people over and have broke down looking appliances, that took 10 minutes of discussion before he changed the face with some one else s. The other problem we had was tiles lifting he just threw some caulking under it pressed down and called it fixed. 5 minutes after he left the tile was lifting again. I figure we pay for maint. so call them back for that and the silicone around the sink is coming off and the garbage disposal won't do anything but bread and the dishwasher doesn't clean dishes. He was there while we were gone and said every thing s ok sinks are just like that. The tile was lifted an inch in the air. He said you need to through ice down the garbage disposal to sharpen the blades, not the brightest guy! Yes if you through half a tray of ice down that will break up and eventually get the stuff to go down. I have always had disposals and never had to do this. I went to home depot and got tile adhesive and fixed that myself. We pay $1100 for a two bed two bath. I guess it's up to you if you think it's worth it. I think you can find the same problems some where else cheaper. Or get more for your money. We only had 2 days to look at apartments. I wish we would have looked more. P.S. if you are going to move here make sure they show you the room your getting, or you might regret it. Carpets, purgo floors scratched, appliances dinged up and scratched

I was a resident in '05 and was carjacked and kidnapped in one of the underground garages by an "unauthorized resident" that was living in the main building. They can say whatever they want to defend their property's safety, but it happened and it sounds like break-ins continue to happen so not much has changed. If you're still there, be careful!
