Nice on the Outside

Years at this apartment: 2007 - 2009
There are several reasons why I'd never rent at the Brittany's Townhomes again:
1) The place is absolutely freezing. I had an end unit, and maybe that contributed, but I was able to freeze a bowl of water in the front entry. I placed a large TV box in front of the entry to block the cold draft. I kept the furnace turned down, otherwise, it would run constantly. I kept the living room/dining room livable by using space heaters when I was using these rooms. Despite this conseration, my gas bill was still over $200 during the cold winter months.
2) The Brittany's advertise themselves as "executive," but the only thing upgraded at the Brittany's is the rent. Otherwise, all the appliances, hardware, flooring, etc. is very basic.
3) Service. Again, if the Brittany's are going to advertise as "executive," they need to provide some customer service. In the two years I lived there, I don't feel anyone at the Brittany's went above and beyond to meet my needs or keep me from looking elsewhere for housing. I had a few maintance issues that were either never fixed or were ignored, including one appliance I felt was a fire hazard. Before I moved in, I asked several times for the dirty stove to be cleaned and the toilet seats to be changed. There issues were never attended to.
A few good points:
1) Location
2) All appliances included
3) Gas fireplace - you'll need it in the winter
