I lived there for 1 year. Buildings are really dirty. Management is not cooperative and rude. Very poor maintenance and workmanship. Had a terrible experience.

I've lived at Essex for 3 years and I have not had any major issues. The buildings are cleaned regularly, but the maintenance staff does have to rely on residents to keeps things nice. If the building residents don't care and throw garbage etc. around, the buildings look gross. My only issue is the ridiculous prices for renting. $770/mo for a single bedroom 725 sq ft apartment. Sheesh!

I would like more info.. I just visited there and it seemed okay.. Thanks. I'm not from rochester, so I really rely on this ratings program. I want to live in a good place.
