Decent place to live

Our 1 bedroom is decently sized for the price and having the balcony is great in the summer. The staff and management is friendly and accommodating but there have been a couple instances where our apartment has been entered without notice for maintenance or inspection which to me is a definite issue. If you rent in a building with a laundry room don't expect to be using it regularly because they are a waste of money and dryers require two cycles most of the time. Thankfully there is a laundromat not too far away. The only other real issues are "bad neighbor" issues. Many neighbors don't seem to respect other vehicles when getting out of their own vehicles in the parking lot so door dings are definitely going to happen without a doubt. The only way to escape this is to rent a garage and I recommend it solely for this reason. Our building is very well sound insulated so we never hear neighbors except when kids run down the hall. I've heard that some buildings are better than others based on the tenants so be picky if you can. Dirty common areas are a sign that you're in one of the bad ones.
