Nice despite problem neighbor

Best thing about Dale Terrace is the location. It's right off Hwy36 and easy to access both Minneapolis and St. Paul. i also feel incredibly safe here; it's right off a residential area and because it's only one building rather than a huge complex, it feels more home-y and there's really no riff-raff. Current care takers are great--very friendly and always on top of repairs/cleaning. Laundry facilities could be better. there's one washer and dryer per floor which can be tight on weekends and dryer sometimes doesn't dry all the way. parking is not a problem; there's always enough spots in the lot. although i pay $40 extra a month for a spot in the underground heated garage which is worth every penny in the winter or when it rains. noise is probably the only problem with this place. you can hear anyone who walks heavily in the hallway above us. most neighbors are very quiet but one of ours is younger and plays music loudly frequently. because it's an older building, bass travels through walls easily here. care takers have been good about dealing with noise complaints though. if it wasn't for our one inconsiderate neighbor, it'd be perfect.
