I lived in the Palisades for only 1 year. For the most part living there was fine. The apartment was pretty up to date and affordable. However, many things about the Palisades is wrong. They are very slow at repairing or renovatting the rest of the complex. While I was there, they took 4 months to renovatte the laundry room so tenants could only do laundry on the weekends and half the machines were always broke and were never fixed the entire year I was there. The security doors to the complex constantly break down and force you to walk around the building to get it. The excercise room is completely worthless. Perhaps the most compelling reason I am writing this review is to warn you that they will take most if not all your security deposit for pathetic reasons. When we left we cleaned our apartment and had the lady there do a thorough 30min walkthrough to examine and then assured us the place looked great only to receive a check in the mail 2 weeks later with plenty of charges. When I contacted them they told me reasons like; dust on the blinds, smears on the windows, and grease on the stove(which she watched me clean right in front of her and then oked it)....Just ridiculous and hopefully taking them to court is the answer.
