I have lived on and off at Auburn Cove for over 10 years. I move in and out of the state and when I move back to my home time I reside at Auburn Cove. They have always given me great rental reviews and prompt service. I have always recieved my damage deposit back. I wish they did have a rental office on site this at times can be frustrating. The on site resident manager is a little rough around the edges but means well and I felt safe knowing he is around. I would recommend this apartment to anyone that is looking for very clean and afforable living.

So they have always given you "great rental reviews?" Hmmmmm. I smell a rat. Is this one of the managers? All I can tell you is that it has been over a year and I still haven't gotten my damage deposit back. That is not acceptable. There latest shenanigan was to send me a receipt for the damage deposit but no check. I have to imagine this is to create a paper trail so if they ever get taken to small claims court they can say, "but your honor, we sent the check - see?" My next step legally is to take them to small claims court as they haven't responded to my final demand letter for payment. If you rent from them, watch your back. FYI, I still have a set of keys, so if you live there you might want to have Dell change your locks. The reason I say this is that when I asked the apartment if they wanted the extra set back they told me to keep them and do with them what I wanted. I wonder just how many sets of keys to YOUR apartment are floating around out there?
