I have lived at this building since 2005. I have raised my son here since his birth. I have always found the staff to be helpful. As with any apartment, there will be issues, however there is usually someone from the manager to the owner to help. My child loves palying in the huge yards that are well taken care of, and very safe, as the location is central but is tucked away in a culde-sac. After living here you get to know a number of the tennants and most have been here for many, many years.
The dog policy is very fair, just a deposit, no monthly rent for the dogs. I have had 2 dogs the entire time I lived here and they have a great fenced in area for the dogs to be walked.
This is a great place to live for a young couple just starting out, a single parent, or anyone who wants an economical nice place to live. This is not the place to move into if you are into partying as the residents are all established here and like things to be peaceful.
They also just added a new female on-site resident manager, who has also lived in the building for years, she is learning but very open and friendly.

Great to hear. I am glad that they finally added a female manager.
However I still haven't received my damage deposit from this company. If you rent here, watch your back.

And don't you think it is suspicious that the only good review happened on the same day with "glowing" reviews?
It is kind of sad when employees or their friends feel the need to write bogus positive reviews.

Actually it is kind of sad that you are so bitter. I actually left here for three months, recieved almost all of my damage back. Plus when I needed an apartment on a moments notice, the manager and owner really helped out. I won't say that throughout my years here there have never been disagreements, but I suggest you evaluate the type of tenant that you were and that might have some indication as to the trouble you are having. I have to say that Harry, the owner is one of the nicest men I have ever met and has always gone out of the way for me. Perhaps you should find an alternative to your dispute, rather than slandering people on the internet.
Auburn Cove is not a fancy luxury apartment, however it is a nice, clean place to live that is affordable, with hands on management, versus some property management company
