I lived here for over a year, and would definately not reccomend these guys to anybody.
For a student, it may be attractive because it is affordable, but affordability comes at a price.
If you have a problem, it is impossible to get ahold of anybody. Jodi, the manager of the complex, has office hours that total less than 10/week, and they are when most people are working. And even if you call during office hours, it is impossible to get somebody to actually answer the phone. Also, in all the time I lived there, I not once met the woman. There is no onsite office, and the onsite manager, Del, is not somebody a young female such as myself would ever want to approach. Always dressed with an open shirt barely covering any of his oversized body, and long scraggly hair, he is far from proffesional looking.
They have a policy of not return damage deposits when one of two renters in a unit is leaving. What they say is that the replacement renter should collect the damage deposit from the renter who is leaving.
Also, I moved out of my apartment partway thru the final month of my lease, while my roommate was staying and getting a new roommate. My move-out day, when my father and I brought a bunch of trash and such to the dumpster, I got yelled at by Del. He accused us from bring trash in from elsewhere to dispose of it (thinking that my father must be bringing trash from his house or something). He threatened to call the cops, and when I told him I lived there as was moving out that day, he claimed not to have known, and said that he was going to bill me for the trash I supposedly brought in from elsewhere.
I, too, still have my keys from the place. So change your locks if you decide to live here, because who knows who else still has theirs.
