I currently live in this apartment and have been nothing but disappointed. After reading some of the other reviews online, i wish i had read them before renting here because they are all true!
It is a building with seems like all 20 somethings who are completely oblivious to the fact that there are other people living in the building. Most neighbors are noisy, slam doors, yelling and screaming, party's at all hours, LOUD music at all times of day and night. Last night i actually fell asleep to my neighbors music (11pm) and woke to it at 7am! what the hell' I am actually in my 20's, but i have respect for my neighbors and realize that playing loud music or throwing beer bottles off my balcony is unacceptable ADULT behavior. By the way, in the apartment description online where it says 'private balcony... they are FAR from private...
Someone had described this apartment building in anohter review as a 'college dorm' and again so true! I was leaving for work one morning and found to highly intoxicated people half sleeping on the couch in the commons area at 6am!!!
Management has the worst communication, don't bother calling them with complaints. It feels like you are a 'bother' to them if you have any complaints at all. I'm not talking small complaints, like someone left a cart on second level... But complaints like your neighbors are keeping you awake until all hours of the morning with drunken party's, screaming yelling, breaking bottles. They DON'T CARE who they rent to, and just want to get people in the door to give them money. If you are looking for a professional building, and have to work like the rest of world, renting here will be your worst nightmare.
Like i said, don't bother calling the office with complaints because they apparently have far better things to do than keep the living environment for there GOOD tenants peaceful.
This building is priced wayyyy to high for the quality of living. When you are touring this building make sure to do it AT NIGHT. This way you will hear how UN-sound proofed these apartments are.
Laundry facilities aren't bad. you have to run the dryers 2 time to ensure the clothes dry so total to dry 1 load of laundry ... $3. And people don't bother taking loads out in a timely manner.
There is one good thing about this building and that's the under ground parking.
So moral of the story, if you want these things:
over priced
loud music all hours of day and night
party's
strange people sleeping in commons area
unresponsive management
very UN-private balcony
...go ahead and rent here and enjoy you nights of irritation and no sleep before work =)
