All of the bad reviews are correct and the good ones must have been written by the staff or someone that has quite low standards.

1. The Club House is the ONLY area in somewhat good condition. The rest of the place is crap.
2. My apartment has not been "checked on" since I moved in almost a year ago. The only thing the staff cares about is gettting new residents and not making the current ones happy. SO sad.
3. The pet policy is a joke. There are people with HUGE dogs and there is poop all over the place outside because NO ONE picks up after pets. Funny enough, there are waste baskets to pick up poop, but there are NEVER bags to use.
4. When I need to go to the office to pick up a package or ask a question, there is no one there. This is because they are understaffed and the ONE person working is on a "tour". Again... trying to fill up the apartments, and not maintain relationships with currents residents. SO SO SO SAD!!!!
5. Packages are just left in the office and I have seen people walk in and take one.... who knows how many times the wrong person took the wrong package.
6. The staff members are never the same. I have seen new people in the office almost monthly... no wonder there are no relationships built between staff and people living at the apartment.
7. The security is PATHETIC. Sometimes the key works, sometimes it does not. One day, the door has a list of residents to use for guests to "buzz up", other days, there is not a list.
8. The place is loud. Quiet hours are no enforced and making the office aware of these people does not change a thing.
9. The hallways are very dirty. I have NEVER heard a vacuum in the hallway. EVER. The hallways should be cleaned at least weekly. I would bet that the handprints on the doors going into the clubhouse and the laundry rooms have been there for years. I wonder if they even have a cleaning staff that does anything other than the lobby area.
10. Cross your fingers that the washer and dryers are working when you need them.
11. The pool is cold. It is not heated. They say that it is, but it is not.
12. Elevators work sometimes. They are always waiting on a part to come to fix them. Even when they are working, they are old and scary. Personally, I take the stairs to avoid getting stuck.
13. There are mice in the ceilings and walls... you can hear them go CRAZY in the winter. I have mentioned it to the staff and this was the response I got... "Are you sure"'! Yes, I am sure. I can hear them running around and squeeking all night. If they are not mice, then I don't want to know what they are. Ick.

WOW... it is really too bad that I am paying these people to live here.

THIS REVIEW IS COMPLETELY CORRECT. I could not have written it better. VILLAGE PARK OF MINNETONKA IS THE WORST APARTMENT BUILDING, I HAVE EVER LIVED IN. Do not live here.
