Lord Have Mercy...

It's just not fair to charge an enormous amount of rent to some tenants and then pennies on the dollar to others. I'm from "the projects" so I understand subsidized housing and government assistance; however, if I wanted to live in the projects, I'd go back there. I don't want to pay $1,700 a month for rent when my neighbors are only paying $200. If the management is allowing Section 8 residents subsidized rent to live here, then they should tell the full paying tenants that when they consider moving here. This may sound bad, but I don't want to live with and around people who are on a fixed income, I'm paying so that I don't have to live in that element anymore. If you are going to live at 808 Berry Street, you might as well pocket your money, move into the projects and save yourself a fist full of cash. It's evident after just a few months of living here that it's not all it's cracked up to be. The office staff is terrible, they couldn't find a package if your name was glowing on it in neon lights, the maintenance crew members are required to have NO teeth and smell like beer at 10:00 a.m. when they come to fix your lights, they provide no services, the garage is always broke and they never clean anything or service their tenants. Any apartment locators should be shot in the face if they even mention that this place is a "luxury apartment". That's what it looks like on the outside, but it's like a Ford Tarus, it's nice and shiny on the surface, but under the hood, it's full of problems. DO NOT COME AND RENT HERE. YOU WILL BE DISAPPOINTED! I knew I was living in a high priced project/ghetto when I saw mattresses laying up against the garbage dumpster. I ask the office staff about it and they said "Oh yeah we are aware of it!" I'm not paying $1,700 a month for rent to have someone tell me they are aware that residents are laying urine infested mattresses and box springs up against the garbage dumpster in the garage, I'm paying $1,700 a month for rent so that I can be around other people paying $1,700 a month for rent who know better than to do some crap like that. Did I mention I can hear my neighbors sneeze and cought? You can hear a rat piss on cotton balls and you don't have to listen very hard. NO SOUND PROOFING! It's a shame! Lord have Mercy! I've been bamboozled. And my lease isn't up for months!
