Luxury apartment' You have got to be kidding me. I don't consider nails coming out of the cheap carpet and toliets that don't flush as being very luxurious. The "soundproof" walls allow us to hear everything around us like little kids running up and down the hall upstairs, the parties going on 24/7, and the maintenance people moving the dumpsters in the garage at 7:30 a.m. (even on weekends)- it sounds like the whole building is coming down! I have a feeling that the good reviews are from the college kids who are partying and making noise at all hours. Every weekend morning (and even on week nights), my roommate and I try to figure out who had the least amount of sleep due to the people yelling in the courtyard and jumping the "fence" to the pool and hot tub area. I have to sleep with a box fan on just to drown out the noise from outside. There are beer cans, cigarette butts, and the occasional puke pile on our patio and other peoples' patios. Not very classy for a luxury apartment. I was sitting on our patio one afternoon while the cleaning lady came around cleaning up after the kids' parties the night before. I apologized that she had to clean up after these people who obviously had mom pick up after them at home. She's getting paid to clean, but she shouldn't have to clean up that crap!
I like to have a good time too, but not at the expense of other people. This is a rip off and I can't wait until our lease is up so I can spend my money on a mortgage payment. I also inquired about getting out of our lease early and was told it would cost $7500.
One positive thing I can say is that the theater and workout rooms are nice, but not worth what we're paying in the grand scheme of things. The staff seem nice, but obviously don't care about what's going on here (why would they' They don't have to live here). If anyone is listening it's everyone I have talked to and have heard about everything and would never consider living here.
