I have been a resident for about a year.
The noise others refer to is well within reason, as it is in fact, an apartment and not a single-family home. The staff is WONDERFUL; they go out of their way to plan monthly resident activities, and also call monthly to check in. The grounds are very well maintained, and offer a huge variety of ammenities you just won't find elsewhere. It's a great location (next to everything), and I would recommend it to most anyone!

The noise is absolutely not within reason! I have also lived here for a year and it has been just awful. I have lived in apartments for almost 10 years now and have never experienced one as noisy as this-not even in college! I know exactly what to expect out of an apartment complex, and this place just does not meet even standard expectations most people would have for an apartment building. Believe me, the staff is not at all helpful when there is actually a problem to be dealt with, they just blow you off. All the people that are giving this place good reviews are the ones that are creating all the noise and non-stop partying. They are the ones being disrespectful to those of us who actually abide by the rules around here.

I agree with the response. Yes, it is apartment living, but they shouldn't be advertising how quiet it is. They shouldn't also be using the word "soundproofing" when they are giving tours to potential renters and using it as a selling-point. It's false advertising!

i AGREE to both of these responses. 808 is not close to everything either. The ONLY things you are close to is a restaurant (that closes everyday at 2 pm), and a superamerica gas station (with a convenience store inside). That is down the street on University Ave. (next to KSTP). OTHERWISE, it's not close to anything!!!! Except the MTC bus stop on University.
