Staff is subpar, not a luxury apartment by any means

Berry Place seemed like a nice apartment upon our move in, but as time went on, the many negatives aspects have came to light.

There are many government subsidized units with people who have a tendacy to be loud and obnoxious. Trying to enjoy a nice QUIET day out by the pool or the grills is something that just isn't going to happen. Children running screaming everywhere, with their ghetto parents screaming right back at them.

The garage is absolutely filthy and has been since January. The staff sent out an announcement for everyone to have their cars out on April 19th, and then they never even cleaned it!!

Many things are broken by the ghetto people that live there, and then the staff allows 4-6 weeks for them to get fixed. The movie theater room, weight room equipment, tanning bed money machine, vending machines...these are all things that are broken or were broken for weeks to months at time.

The staff often is not on location as they say they will be. And more frustrating, is the fact that they won't even leave a message about when they will be there and when they won't. If you need to get ahold of anyone for any reason over a holiday weekend, you will not receive a call for several days. They do give an "emergency maintenence" phone number but after calling this guy I discovered he is a very unhelpful and unhappy SOB. And trust me, there are not many things that qualify as "emergency maintenance." Our air conditioning went out over this weekend on Sunday morning with outside temperatures in the mid-90's. Today it is Tuesday and it has still not been addressed. You can imagine how much sleep we all got.

I believe Berry could be a fabulous place to live with more attention to detail in the area of customer service and respectable tenants. However, as of right now and its current trend...it needs to drop the word "Luxurious" from its advertisements.

I'm sure the person who wrote this is a white person. I hope your labeling white people as ghetto also because I see a lot of problems coming from white residents that have ghetto mentalities. They are the ones that I witness outside at wee hours of the night drunk and making lots of noises, littering on the grounds, & throwing loud obnoxious parties.

Subsidized housing in a luxury rental building is ridiculous. I came to an expensive place to avoid the class of people that don't work and don't know the basic "rules" of living with the rest of the world. That is what subsidized housing brings in and it is not good. Management only cares about filling their apartments at any cost.
