I have lived at 808 Berry since May of 2006. I don't share the same opinion as some of my neighbors in regards to their issues with the apartments. I think people tend to forget that this is an apartment building and certain things are necessary to ensure that it runs smoothly and that our safety is of concern. Fire alarms need to be tested, furnace filters and smoke detectors need to be changed periodically, etc. This is why we live in apartments...so there are people to do these things for us and that is why we are renters and not homeowners.

Last time I checked, there was no law against homeowners hiring people to do these maintenance items for them. The reason most people are renters in an apartment is because they can't afford a house, not because they want someone to do all of their work for them. Finally, the complaints, as I read them from others, aren't because these chores are being done, but the occurance and duration of them. I smell a management sandbag in "all is well at 808". Don't you people have better things to do? Like deliver our packages!!!
