This is a terrible place to live. Management is out of touch with the residents and have been on several occasions quite rude. They overcharge residents and although they state that this is a "Luxury" apartment, it is far from it. I had my place broken into, and the Maintenance person who came to fix my broken window lectured me, and the apartment manager even had the nerve to accuse me of leaving my apartment door unlocked. There is a lock on our door which has a computer and could tell us when the door was unlocked, and the staff has not responded to my request to check the lock logs, and it has been nearly three weeks. When I called to ask if there was any more that I could do to secure the apartment, they got defensive and acted as if we did something wrong. They say they offer services to people who are not home for the weekend, but I didnt hear about these services until after the break in. TERRIBLE PLACE TO LIVE... DO NOT LIVE HERE

Funny... Because I also live at Berry Place on the first floor and if you pay attention- they mention ALL THE TIME that they will check on your apartment, plants, and pets. Its always in the newsletter in the elevator and by the mailboxes... I have even gotten flyers under my door saying it. Don't blame management for your own bad luck. Maybe you did leave your door unlocked... And its pretty low of you to hate on Berry just because your place got broken into... do you know that break ins happen EVERYWHERE. Regardless of the neighborhood or the building. I have had nothing but good experiences at Berry. The staff has always been friendly and helpful, they alwaysay hi to me when I walk by. My apartment is on first floor and I haven't been robbed- even after living here for years. So don't make your judgements of 808 Berry based on this tool's anger. You would love living here.

It isn't so much the break-in, but the response by management. Sure a break-in can happen anywhere and to anyone, but not calling to check and see if a tenant is all right or helping with the investigation by checking the lock logs is poor management. Regardless their 'services' likely would not have prevented the break-in.
