Here s what has impressed me about Aspenwoods:

Lovely overall aesthetic. Hugs a small, wooded lake which abounds in nature. Looking out my window each day is like looking at a beautiful (and always changing) painting; lots of birds to watch and listen to.

Excellent general daily maintenance of grounds, buildings (lobbies, halls, laundry); steady improvements in landscaping and on building structures (roofs, tuckpointing, plumbing, new bathroom fixtures, etc.); friendly, and receptive staff and prompt response time to problems or complaints. Lovely swimming pool - kept quite clean - with nearby area for picnic and grilling.

Staff communicates well with tenants regarding building upkeep issues and seems to welcome and encourage new ideas for Aspenwoods (not common in rentals!); wonderful and culturally diverse rental community with old, young, families, singles, showing a general cordiality towards one another; lots and lots of nature - walking paths; local and state parks; excellent access to public transport and highways as well; excellent schools, parks and community education geared towards kids; easy access to an abundance of grocery, big box, and smaller shops - these are everywhere.

Yes, Aspenwoods is an older building and has problems, not every tenant has a happy experience, but in general, the staff and tenants seem to strive to rise above to make it an enjoyable place to live. This is a very decent place to live and I would recommend it to anyone without hesitation.
