I lived there in the last year. The rental office treats you cold. Water from the shower flows less than the general. Some maintainance happens in the early morning, such as cutting the grass.
You should notice them 60 days earlier before the end of the contract. If not, they even charge you additional rent including the garage. And they didn't permit me quitting garage for one month. They charge you lots of utility, at least more than $21 per month. And they ask you to pay each burned bulb even if the light is wierd and dangerous for you without professional experience to change yourself.
And generally you receive the rent bill so late, even less than one week before the payment due. And definitely if you pay the rent late, you will be charged for some late fee.
If you want to post some infor on the public board, they will throw it away in one week without noticing you.
Although no big problem, they bring you uncomfortable feeling. Oh, and their price is expensive. It is coming up this year because of market reason, $900 for one-bed room, and $50 for garage each month. So definitely you could find a better apartment with this price here.

Most of the things you are complaining about are standard in every lease no matter where you are at. It is the tenants responsibility to make sure every lightbulb is replaced at the end of their lease. If you felt it too dangerous to do yourself you should've asked maintenance. As far as your 60 day notice, it is required in your lease to give a 60 day notice and if you don't then they have every right to hold you responsible for another month. Sucks sometimes but those are the rules. Concerning the rent bill, yes you should receive this on time but it states in your lease that it is due the first of EVERY month. There are lots of people who have legitimate complaints about the Burlington and the reason I am responding to your message is to let you know that you HAVE to read through your lease so you know the rules and so you can protect yourself. It's up to the tenant to be knowledeable. I also lived at the Burlington and thought it was way overpriced and I did not enjoy living there very much because they claimed they had these great workout facilites and none of the equipment in the building I was in even worked. Of course it was beautiful in the main building.
