I lived at the Chateau Montreal for two years, and went through some major drama. To make an extremely long story short, we had the neighbors from hell. It took about a year for anything to be done, but in the end, the Chateau made them leave and the building is much nicer because of it.
They can be a bit slow in fixing things, from broken air conditioners to horrible neighbors, but in the end they do come through.
I can't say I'm sad that I bought my own place and am out of there, but overall it's a decent place to live for the money. They're remodeling the kitchens too- which should be nice.
