Apartments okay/poor management

We moved here a little less than a year ago and have had an okay living situation. For the first several months when we moved in, we had different office staff that were very helpful and courteous. A few months later, new staff was hired that are rude and blame the old apartment staff for all of their own mistakes. It takes a minimum of three calls to get anything fixed, and the quickest we have had something fixed was 3 weeks. (even for a broken doorknob!)
The rent is cheap, though, and the complex itself is decent enough. If you are bothered by trains, noisy neighbors, or broken appliances, this may not be the place for you.
