If you like elevators that smell like urine this is the place for you!!!

The manager, in her comments mentioned the pool, workout room, and party room which ARE well kept and nice.
HOWEVER, most people don't use those things on a daily basis. Most people DO have to deal with the elevators on a daily basis and they smell like the giraffe building at the zoo; the elevator in building 1980 is unbearable at times. Rather than change the 4x6 piece of carpet, they just spray a ton of "air freshener" into the elevator so you get the nice aroma of industrial strength cleaner mixed with pee. Its the equivalent of spraying a ton of cheap cologne over 2 year old B.O. (those carpets in the elevator have been there for at least 2 years).
So...if you do plan on moving here enjoy the nice common area near the office that they show you on the tour, and by all means ask to check out the elevators in building 1980. On our tour they took us through the stairwell; had we had a chance to view the daily messages scratched on the green paint in the elevator and to smell the aroma of urine soaked carpet we probably would have continued our apartment search. If moving wasn't such a pain in the rear and so expensive, we'd be gone.
